Falcon Travelers

Dutch Design Leather, Est 2013

I wasn’t going to write a WOYWW post today, because I have so much stuff to do. I figured it wouldn’t be responsible of me to write a post and then not find the time to go and comment on the other workdesks out there … and there are a lot ….

But you know what, I’m fed up with having to do the things I have to do and to proove it, I’ll show you what was on my workdesk just a few minutes ago…

See it’s a complete mess.

I started cleaning it up, because that’s what I was supposed to do, among other things. Right, but in stead I found myself making these little cuties… MiniDori’s =) and I couldn’t stop myself, I made booklets for the inside, decorated them. made a folder etc. I had soooo much fun!

Here are some close-ups of the MiniDori’s =)

Isn’t he adorable…

I even made mini inserts for them.

Including a little file folder with little note papers…

The inserts and the MiniDori are completely functional.

Though you might have to write very small…

I made some stickers with a new font I found and some label sticker sheets. The font is called Dead Letter Office…very cool font, it makes these postal stamp prints.

I just cut them out and punched the circles.

A little distressing and they are almost real.

Look how tiny, I’m still laughing when I see this.

I’m in love, he’s so adorable… just what I needed and you know what, I’m not going to do what I’m supposed to do today and just do what makes me happy for the rest of the day. For instance, go and check out those other desks I can find via Julia’s blog the stamping ground.

Hope to meet you there and I wish you a wonderful week.

  1. Hey Monique! Well done you! I love your tiny teeny books. I feel there are masses and masses of things I should be doing too, especially cleaning my house! I just wanted you to know that you inspire me so much. I made my first book a while back – not as brilliant as yours, but a beginning and I just so loved doing it. I am going to keep this up and make coptic stitched books as gifts – just for the love of it! Have a wonderful, creative day! Julie Ann xx #35

  11. Some days you just have to say “forget it!” to things you planned to do and do what feels right. Today was one of those days for you. I love your miniature book! So much tiny detail went into it. It is so small it is crazy. How can your eyes focus that small?! Thanks for sharing your lovely tiny creation.

That is the cutest little book, and so much detail too! I love miniature stuff, it takes some extra patience to work so small but the rewards are greater! Love dead letter font, one of my favourites! Happy WOYWW Annette #19

That book is just so cute I love that font too it's just got so much to play with never thought to print it on a sticker. I find going thru my stash is just plan fun to do, and I just part with that I'm not using I only like to have a small space filled with my stash to much and I find the clutter get's to me lol hugs Nikki 37
