Falcon Travelers

Just a quick post for a little card made for the Simon says stamp and show challenge; A little paper. I made this card for my mother, as I’m going to invite her to come and join me again for a few days and I thought she would like to receive a nice card.

I made this card with the prima engraver 6″-6″ paperpad, one of my favorites. I had the base card already so I just needed to embellish it.

I’m not much of a card maker, but I had a lot of fun making this one.

I cut out some bits and pieces from the collection. Distressed it all with walnut stain and stamped some butterflies and the word travel. I also added a compass brad from the same collection.

I made the above embellishment with one of my new stamps in fimo clay, added some gold perfect pearls to it before putting it in the oven.

I embellished the inside with more stamps, pieces of the collection and washi tape and connected the butterflies with little dots made with a permanent marker.

On the backside I just stamped some butterflies.

Now I just need to write the invitation in the card and then I can sent it of to her. I hope she likes it as much as I did making it.
